Tourism Malaysia runs second series of sales missions to China

Tourism Malaysia, in collaboration with state tourism our bodies and the Malaysia Inbound Chinese language Affiliation (MICA), launched into a second collection of gross sales missions to discover southern and japanese China between 26 and 30 August. 

This second mission sought to foster nearer tourism ties and additional discover potential leads from Shenzhen, Chongqing, Wuhan and Nanjing.

Tourism Malaysia’s deputy common director Lee Tai Hung led the delegation, along with Ng Suee Lim of the Selangor State Government Council, Nicole Tan Lee Koon of the Negeri Sembilan State Government Council, Tourism Perak CEO Nurmalis Musa, MICA president Angie Ng Wai Sam, and representatives from 78 tourism organisations and institutions.

Lee stated of the mission: “Constructing on the momentum of the 30-day visa-free journey coverage for Chinese language residents, which commenced on 1 December 2023, we purpose to domesticate confidence and discover additional collaborations to attain pre-pandemic ranges whereas showcasing the newest choices to the Chinese language market. Thus, this gross sales mission offers a platform for the trade group to collect, alternate concepts, and collaborate to deliver extra arrivals to Malaysia.”
